Safe and Gentle Chiropractic Care During Pregnancy
We use techniques that are specifically designed for pregnant bodies. Our chiropractic adjustments are gentle, comfortable, and safe. Special pregnancy tables and tools are used to ensure your comfort and safety throughout every session. We often incorporate the Webster Technique to help align the pelvis and reduce tension, which may allow your baby to move into an ideal position for birth.

Routine adjustments can lead to a more comfortable pregnancy, an easier labor, and faster recovery after delivery.
How a Visit Works
Evaluation
Your first visit begins with a thoughtful, in-depth evaluation. We take time to understand your unique pregnancy journey by reviewing your history, including any previous pregnancies, medications, surgeries, or physical trauma. We also listen carefully to your preferences around touch, positioning, sleep rhythms, and comfort.

Next, we perform gentle cranial checks to assess motion in the head and face, as well as the coordination of the jaw and tongue. We also evaluate comfort and alignment in the neck and spine, always using light, respectful touch.
Care
Our hands-on care is grounded in gentle, intentional contact. Using light fingertip guidance, we support natural motion and release areas of tension. Soft holds are applied to the jaw and TMJ to ease discomfort, and gentle support is provided for the neck and upper back.

We also check the pelvis using SOT-based techniques adapted for pregnancy. If needed, we may use a precision instrument to assist specific areas. All care is non-invasive, with no snapping/cracking or forceful movements.

We also address, by using Webster technique, the uterus position and tension from all ligaments.
Re-testing and Home Strategies
After each session, we re-check the areas we worked on to see how your body has responded. We then share simple, supportive strategies you can use at home. These may include positioning tips, gentle holds, ways to relieve tension, or movements to stay more comfortable throughout pregnancy. Everything we offer is designed to fit your lifestyle and meet you where you are.
Emotional Support and Nervous System Balance

Pregnancy can bring a wide range of emotions including joy, worry, excitement, and fear. At [Your Clinic Name], we recognize this and provide care that also supports emotional well-being. By helping to regulate the nervous system, we support hormonal balance and greater emotional stability during this important time.

Our gentle, focused adjustments encourage a parasympathetic state, often called the "rest and digest" mode. This state helps both mother and baby remain calm and balanced, promoting wellness throughout the pregnancy.

Preparing for a Positive and Empowered Birth

Whether your birth plan involves a hospital, birthing center, or home environment, our team is here to support your choices. In the final trimester, our care focuses on promoting pelvic balance and optimal fetal positioning. This can help support a more efficient labor and delivery process.
We are committed to helping you trust your body and your birth journey with confidence and clarity.

Frequently asked questions
Is craniopathy safe during pregnancy?
Yes. Craniopathy is safe and uses gentle, age-appropriate techniques that are carefully adapted to the pregnant body. Our approach involves light, respectful touch and is always guided by informed consent. We explain each step before beginning so you know what to expect and feel completely at ease.

Is SOT Method chiropractic safe?
Yes. SOT, or Sacro Occipital Technic, is a gentle and non-invasive chiropractic method that is safe during pregnancy. It uses specific contacts and positioning to support spinal and pelvic alignment without forceful adjustments. Many pregnant individuals find it calming and notice improvements in posture, comfort, and mobility. The care is always adapted to your needs and stage of pregnancy.

When should I start care during pregnancy?
You can begin care at any time. Some individuals choose to start in the first trimester for early nervous system support, while others begin in the second or third trimester to help with alignment, comfort, and preparation for birth. Starting earlier gives us more time to support your changing body, but it is never too late to begin.

Will the care be uncomfortable?
No. Our care is designed to be gentle and calming. We use light fingertip contact, supportive positioning, and techniques that work with your body, not against it. Most people find sessions relaxing, and many notice a sense of ease or relief right away.

How often will I need to come?
That depends on your individual goals and what we find during your evaluation. Some people benefit from weekly or biweekly visits, especially in the third trimester. Others may come less frequently. We reassess at every visit and update your care plan together based on how you are feeling and progressing.

Do you coordinate care with my midwife, OB, or birth team?
Yes. With your permission, we are happy to share findings and communicate with your healthcare providers. We believe in collaborative care and often work alongside midwives, OBs, pelvic floor therapists, acupuncturists, and other professionals to support you as a whole person.

Will I need imaging?
Not unless it is clinically necessary. Imaging is not a routine part of care and is only recommended if we identify specific concerns. If that happens, we will talk with you about the options, risks, and benefits so you can make an informed decision.

Is blood work required?
No. Blood work is not required before your first visit. We begin with a thorough history and physical exam, then decide together if testing might offer helpful insights. When indicated, testing options may include blood, saliva, urine, stool, or hair samples. We only recommend testing when it is clinically appropriate, and we are happy to review any recent labs you already have. If any red flags are present, we may suggest labs or imaging before continuing care and will coordinate with your primary provider if needed.
